I actually like it as a tower defence game to waste some time, and want to give it a good review. BUT the save function is completely broken, any progress made will be deleted after a session. It says it saves, but it doesnt, you will start at tutorial level 1 every time its opened. For a game with a large skill tree and hours worth of levels this is completely unacceptable.Worse, you can read in the discussion forum that the developer has known about this simple game breaking issue for 4 months. This Kingdom Rush style TD looks nice and starts pretty fair, but quickly became frustrating to me. Like most games it has a tech tree you can invest in, but one based on experience you receive beating levels. Fair enough, but you need a fair amount of experience to level up, and it quickly starts to feel like you're perpetually behind the curve. Multiple times it's seemed like no matter how I arrange my towers one enemy just barely manages to touch my gems - it's Defense Grid style where they'll try to make off with them, but infuriatingly all they need to do is grab one and there goes your perfect rating. You have spells to help you out, but having to use them feels like you made a mistake and could have beat the level without them. That's particularly true of the skull spells, which just break the rules in your favor.Not helping this is a building system where you'll often need to sink money or mana into something to give you resources you need, or to keep the enemies from receiving some advantage themselves. That adds more possibilities and more trial and error. What really annoys me is that once you get in a good loop of upgraded towers in levels, they become really easy since by then you have a ton of surplus magic or random drops of scrolls by enemies which can freeze mobs or damage them. Obviously starting off a level can be the most difficult part, but this is a really big extreme.It's not a bad game by any means but I like beating levels perfectly the first try in this genre, and while I'm sure that's possible here it's needlessly frustrating.. This is a fun, campy tower defense game. It's well designed and well balanced. I 100%'d the game in about 15 hours without significant difficulty, but it was an enjoyable experience. I had no issues at all with crashes or lost save data. If those were problems at some point as others have noted, they've since been fixed and are no longer present.If you enjoy tower defense games you will enjoy this game. For the price it's worth it.. Tower Defense with a nice cartoony look, 24 well crafted maps, and 18 different towers (3 basic, 6 mid tier, 9 high end). You upgrade skills between levels due to XP gain per level. It plays smoothly and has enough options for a 2D PC game. If you are stuck, you can grind a bit for XP or skulls (needed for OP spells), that make your life easier. Beating it is a challenge, Beating it with 3 star ratings on the last 3 levels seems impossible without some heavy skull grinding. If you like tower defense games, you probably already know this one. But if you want to know, if you like it, play the free browser version. I don't see how to beat the final level without any Skull-powerups, which are pretty much cheats to me. Where's the fun in beating the game with cheats? To me, this feels like a bad port from mobile to PC, where the pay-to-win currency simply became integrated as a random minion's drop.. On Cursed Treasures 2 you need to defend your precious gems from getting stolen building powerful towers to defeat the enemies.We have 3 types of towers on the game:Den,Crypt and the Temple each one with a speciality. Also we have a lot of things that can help us on our quest,like the super powers and some special bulidings that can give us items like coins for buying new towers. We can use to destroy some terrain to build new towers too.As the game advances,it gets more challenging with the coming of the bosses,that are very strong and call reinforcements,so,you will need to think on a strategy and upgrade the towers to the max. You play the game like a traditional Tower-Defense Game:Using the mouse to make almost everything here,but the game also features some keyboard shortcuts for you too. The main game has 24 levels,but when you defeat the bosses you unlock the night mode that is the same level,but you can build only where the light reaches.Also you have a lot of skills and achievements to unlock as you progress in the game.GRAPHICSCursed Treasure 2 features beautiful and colorful graphics,that can run almost in any computer.SOUNDTRACKA great soundtrack that makes the game more addictive than it is.SUMMARYCursed Treasures 2 is a game for people that want a challenging and fun tower defense game to play and also for newbies that wants to be introduced on this genre too.The game has a lot of explanations to help you and it's also easy to learn.
